So you want to be a roller derby girl?
You Must be 18 years of age or older to be a roller derby girl and proof of age will be required.You are responsible for having the following gear:
www.rollergirl.ca and www.sincityskates.com These are two sites that specialize in equipment for roller girls and that also offering Fresh Meat packages. Or you can round up gear from friends and family. For protective gear, skate shops like Mission and Skaters are worth checking into. Once you pass tryouts you will be placed on the Fresh Meat team for a period of three months or greater and after successfully passing benchmarks you will then be eligible to play in a game with your fellow Roller Girls given that your attendance and skating abilities are up to par.
